The 15th edition of the Costa Serena Open Water Swim – Gran Premio Concello de Nigrán will take place on July 13 at Praia América. Registration is open until July 9 on the website www.championchipnorte.com. We expect to gather over 500 swimmers, both national and international, from children to adults, across six different race distances.
To mark this 15th edition, we are introducing a new 2×400-meter relay race. In addition, cash prizes will be awarded to the overall male and female winners in the 4 km, 2.7 km, and 800 m events, as well as to the top three teams in the relay race.
There will also be two short non-competitive races for children aged 5 to 13. One will be 50 meters (for ages 5 to 8), and the other 150 meters (for ages 9 to 13). These races will begin at 1:00 PM (50 meters) and 1:15 PM (150 meters), respectively.
The Costa Serena Open Water Swim is organized by Atlantic Extreme Sports, the Tumetapersonal Sports Club, and the Concello de Nigrán.
